MINOR SNOW ACCUMULATIONS EXPECTED LATE TODAY AND ESPECIALLY TONIGHT.

SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED TO WORK ONTO THE SOUTHEAST MASSACHUSETTS COAST THIS AFTERNOON.

THE SNOW SHOWERS SHOULD THEM OVERSPREAD THE REST OF CENTRAL AND EASTERN MASSACHUSETTS, AS WELL AS RHODE ISLAND THIS EVENING.

ALL PRECIPITATION SHOULD BE IN THE FORM OF SNOW, EXCEPT FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST COASTAL PLYMOUTH COUNTY WHERE IT SHOULD BECOME MILD ENOUGH FOR A CHANGE TO RAIN SHOWERS.

A COATING TO 2 INCHES OF SNOW IS EXPECTED LATE TODAY AND ESPECIALLY TONIGHT.

THERE IS A RISK FOR LOCALIZED 3 TO 4 INCH SNOW AMOUNTS ACROSS PORTIONS OF NORTHWEST PLYMOUTH COUNTY AND INTO NORFOLK COUNTY.

MOTORISTS PLANNING TRAVEL LATE TODAY AND ESPECIALLY TONIGHT SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR SLIPPERY TRAVEL AND SNOW COVERED ROADWAYS.
